Whenever I travel anywhere I always keep a hand written journal documenting the sights I see, things I eat and everything else in between. There is just something nice about having notes and writing in a journal that makes the whole adventure seem a bit more real. I have done this for the past 7 years and the same thing always happens. I end up sitting in some train station, cafe or hostel bed late at night trying to recall all the details of what I did a few days, sometimes a few weeks before. I am slow writer and not often the mood strikes me and after a few weeks into the trip I have resorted to jots notes, saying "did this" and "ate here".
I am currently doing a three month internship in India, and I am finding myself at a computer without much work to do and several hours to kill. So why not start a blog. Over the next several months, maybe year, I will attempt to add pictures and stories of places I have been. They may not be in chronological order but they will say the location and date I was there, so lets see how this goes...
